Beth at A Real Anti-Supermom (LOVE that name) recently had a giveaway for a $10 Target gift card. And I won!
Her strict instructions were to spend it on something for myself. Awesome! An excuse to splurge on ME!
So I bought a book.
A really really special book.
Thank you, Beth!
I have to finish P.S I Love You before I can start this one. Talk about an incentive to find reading time!
Congratz on submitting to the craze of the century ;)
ReplyDeleteI read 1-3 and need to get the 4th. And Host. Heard it was good too!
hehe WARNING: Once you start, you can not stop!!
ReplyDeleteI loved PS I love you. I found it at costco before it came out on movie, and of course the Book was SO much better than the movie. But the movie was still good too...it always makes me cry!
Yay!! You got it! And so cool that you won the contest, it's bringing you one step closer to Edward. lol~
ReplyDeleteBeing the die hard Harry Potter dork that I am I have yet to get into these books.. though hubby has them all (first editions) in his book shop... so tell me what you think and I'll see if I can leave behind Hogwarts and move on... :-((((
ReplyDeleteOh one good thing about the movie for Twilight is that the actor who played Cedric Diggory in Goblet of Fire plays the title roll in it!
You know you'll find my geeky tail at the midnight showing of Half Blood Prince on the 21st.. sad huh?
Tell me if you like them, I have 4 still and am getting ready to start the host.
ReplyDeleteRemember these are very sweet teen books so they are a little fluffier than what (I) normally read...
Congrats on winning - and on forcing yourself to spend the money on you!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy...and be sure to give a report out on the book for those of us who still remain in the dark.
I love all her books.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is so into those books and is looking forward to seeing the movie as well. Do you think you will see the movie before you finish reading the series?
ReplyDeleteMy daughter would be so happy for you! She just got the last book for her birthday and a BIG poster of Edward. She's all giddy now.
ReplyDeleteI think friday is the big movie. She's already got advanced tickets and is upset that I won't let her go to the midnight showing. (she's only 16). Silly girl
I've read the Twilight series and just finished The Host, which I loved. Prepare yourself for a new obsession!

Happy that you got the gift certificate and you DID follow the rules. I'm not into the Twilight series, but maybe I should be.
Your new home looks great BTW.
Now that I'm an unemployed bum, I have time to dive into this talked-about-all-time-by-everyone series.
