Gabi and Gum at The Mommy Diaries

I'm guest posting over at The Mommy Diaries today!

It's all about Gabi and her love of gum. And my subsequent hate for it. Gum should be like alcohol- illegal for anyone under the age of 21. Well, that might be pushing it too far. Can we go for 10?

An Incident Involving Gum

Diane needed a bit of help so she could focus on her upcoming two-day 150 mile bike ride. Yes, you read that right. She's participating in the 2008 MS 150 City to Shore bike ride to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in honor of her mother-in-law.

Amazing. But Diane is amazing.

If you'd like to read more about how Diane came to be in the race, start here.

  5. LOL! They do work us over, don't they?

Jarrah has never had gum, because I told her it is illegal for children under 4. Funnily enough, this was only because I thought she'd choke to death. Now that I've been educated by your post, I see there's a far more pressing reason for the law. And now that I've been educated by your post, the new Age of Gum Consent has become 10. ;)

  6. When I read your guest post I felt so guilty for sending gum!!! But, Gabi sure is a smooth talker! I loved that she made a chore chart and checked off her items!! You gotta love the thinking that goes on in the minds of 4 year olds! *smile*

  8. What a great guest post! Ugh...think I'm all for swearing it off 'til 10, too! Our twosome just recently tried their first bubble gum and repeatedly spat it out of their mouths "blowing bubbles."

Kudos on a great guest post. :)
