Not Ready

Of course I'm not ready.

I threw the whole contest thing out there yesterday to make sure that I got things rolling. I just didn't realize that I'd be rolling a whole lot slower than I had anticipated. Ha! I'm a slow roller! Do I find that funny because it's a song or something? Pop culture is kind of lost on me, though random things seem to stick in my head.

Anyway, just a few more kinks to work out, and then I'll do the big reveal. It's pretty bittersweet for me, but if it must be done, I figure why not have a little fun with it?

And since it looks like it might take a week or so to get everything squared away, here's a hint to keep you guessing: Something major regarding my blog is going to change.

Good, now that that's settled, I can pop some more ibuprofen.

I've been having raging headaches, otherwise known as the Atkins Flu. I've been back on Induction for a few days now, and as my body adjusts to being in ketosis, my head has been pounding. It should go away in a few days, along with some more weight.

Over the last five months or so, I've been watching my carb intake just enough to not GAIN weight. That, at least, has been a success (woohoo for not adding poundage!). But I MUST lose more. As of today, I'm officially off the pill.

Yeah, I'm not ready for that either.

Scared out of my blippin' mind is more like it. I still have leftover baby weight from the first one! But if we don't try for baby number two now, it'll never happen. Oh, I'm excited, too, don't get me wrong, but let's see if I can whittle a bit more weight off myself before I start to grow a baby.

And now back to the regularly scheduled programming. Which includes getting caught up on my reader! If I haven't visited you in a while, I'm back in the groove and will be stopping by soon. After all, I have my date with Vons free internet tonight for Awana Wednesday!

  1. Going off the pill was tough on me, so be aware in the next week if you feel like you are having the worst PMS of your life, it's normal. Wine + chocolate + a baby sitter is my prescription.

  22. How exciting to be trying for another baby. I think the fact that we are gonna be trying soon was the kick up te backside I needed to get motivated to exercise so that my body is starting pregnancy from a decent point.

The weight though... good luck. I'm working at that right now too. I'm hoping that I can get into better shape before the holidays so I have some motivation to stay out of the cookie jar!!
