Brazilian Bikinis

There is one good thing about Brazilian bikinis. The smaller they get, the better they look.

Gabi's bright pink Dora one-piece is a bit small after four months of use. The back is permanently fixed up her butt crack in a wedgie. Like an Olympic gymnast.

The Brazilian bikini her Grandmother sent her, on the other hand, still fits. The bigger Gabi gets, and the smaller the bikini becomes, the cuter it looks! I'll keep it out in case we do any indoor swimming this fall and winter. The Dora suit is heading to the garage.

I was a bit skeptical about the whole bikini on a child thing, but since Brazilians wear bikinis from birth without a second thought (I've NEVER seen a one-piece there), I'm okay with Gabi connecting to her roots by wearing one, too. Until she hits puberty, that is. Then all Brazilian Bikinis will suddenly disappear off the face of the Earth.
