Back On The Job

Someone emailed me and asked how my last post could be true (Gilberto coming home from WORK) if he has mono and bronchitis.

Well, it's true.

It's because he's been playing superhero online for so long he thinks he's one himself. Seriously, there's no reasoning with that boy. He thinks he's invincible.

He took last Friday and Saturday off, considered that quite sufficient, and insisted on heading back to work on Monday.

The crazy thing is that he doesn't work in an office. He installs solar panel heating systems. He climbs roofs and digs ditches for plumbing- it's a pretty physically taxing job. He should definitely NOT be at work.

What he's going to do is put himself in the hospital. But until then, there is no convincing him that staying home is better. All I can do is try to get him to get enough sleep every night.

At least he's taking all of the vitamins and herbs I'm throwing at him.

Anyone else have a spouse as stubborn as mine?
